Timmy: HEH HEH. Okay, will credit you next time. Emelynn: OMG! I love you. Send send send okay?
And... to all my teachers out there. Happy teachers day! Thank you for all that patience and dedication. Enjoy your day and stop marking for once. Okay? :D Oh, and Mrs Chee, YOU ROCK!
And Zac Efron was SO CUTE in the movie. *SWOONS* It seems like today many people went to watch movies. And I totally didnt regret it other than the trip back.
But to start it off... School was pretty fine today. ACES is so much better this year as compared to last year's boxing thing which was FAR TOO GAY! But this year's one was sexy and sleek, only that the lower sec are not enthu about it. :( Ah, as usual. Then was the teacher's day concert. Couldnt stand Mabel's voice. :S Annnnnnd, Azri! You rock! Congrates on getting 2nd (although you should have gotten 1st). SEXY SEXY SEXY voice! :D Was pretty distracted with all the ex-TKians gathering at the back. Many ma'ams and sirs came back. Ma'am Sheena came back! So did ma'am PeiZhen and ma'am Rauhda! :D And specially... *drumroll* Melvin! (yea, the cat aka zao chai mao) Well, the good old 2C days.
Escaped from school for Marina with Yinglin. Time spent with her is always gay and great. Spent ages deciding what to eat (and we landed up at food court in the end). After which, got pretty distracted with the science fair going on below and rushed for the movie. The science fair was COOOOOLLLL. Nothing compared to our school's. (((:
Now, we went back via MRT and after we got in, we heard someone calling my name. Assuming it was someone I know, I turned around but didnt see anyone familiar. The moment I turned my head back, I heard my name being called again. This time not only one voice but two or three. Slightly irritated, I asked Yinglin to look for me. She found that it was these 3 boys standing behind us which looked like little midgets (note, some more considering a short person calling them midgets, they gotta be small) in awfully ahbeng clothes. Honestly, it was a TOTAL turnoff. How they know my name? I was wearing class tee. So yea, this continued throughout the journey. Yinglin gave them her KILLER glare and they zipped it for a few seconds. But once the people started to clear by the stations, they bugged us even more. One of them wanted to get my number and asked us very gay questions like are we from TKG, are we Sec3, etc. It was SO ANNOYING. Thank God YingLin was there or else I would have lost all my face. And I faced my back to them throughout the journey, other than once or twice where I flipped around to give them the pissed look or to check whether they are gone (which sadly wasnt the case). It was so irritating that we decided to both get off at Tanah Merah and Yinglin took the bus. Oh man, I LOVE Yinglin. Now, I am not going to wear my class tee out anymore. This isnt the first time someone called my name cause of my class tee. HoHum.
Well, they cant spoil my great day with Yinglin and Hairspray!
YEAH MAN! Holidays are on their way, (alongst with all those disgusting homework) and I'm going to watch Hairspray with Yinglin tomorrow! YEAHHHH!
Its so sad that I can only watch one movie cause I also want to watch High School Musical 2 (and Zac is in there too!) and Ratatouille. Argh, but better than none right?
And I'm so in love with "Without Love" by Zac Efron, Nikki Blonsky, Amanda Bynes and Elijah Kelley
Without love Life is like the seasons with no summer Without love is like Life is rock 'n' roll without a drummer
Muster parade was a totally different experience when you become an NCO. And a very very different experience for me. Well, thats because I get to stand behind Ms Nani and give out the badges. A totally new perspective. If you know what I mean. (:
I envy those 12 sergeants. I could not get any ranks cause I have not even taken the promotion test. I want those 3 stripes! But I pity those few that tried very hard but didnt pass. But at the same time do not think that some of them should have gotten their promotion. Well, I dont know. Just hoping that we can have a retest soon for those that didnt make it for the previous promotion test. (LIKE ME!) :(
Simply cant wait for the upcoming Sept holidays. But it always comes with a price consisting of horribly long CCA and Campcraft trainings and holiday assignments. I already plan to start mugging this Sept holidays! I think I've gone mad. But note to self, I MUST sleep more and play more!!!
Talking about that, tomorrow's going to be one tough, dreadfully long and tiring day. Tell me about it. English compo test STRAIGHT after Common tests (dont know why they must do this) and campcraft training after that. I want my holidays!!! *throws shoes at them*
At least I am going to watch Hairspray on Friday with dearest Yinglin! :DDD I cant wait okay.
Anyway, I was doing my routine of blog hopping and chanced upon some SAC girls' blogs. Honestly, they seem so stress-less and carefree. They have like time to go out and play around. Nothing against them but its rare to see such things in TK. Its study study study! Chiong!
Besides that, its muster parade tomorrow. Already prepared the ranks and badges, all waiting in the NP room for tomorrow's big day. 12 promoted to Sgt. Though I know some of the people that are promoted, I'm gonna zip zip, so maybe try bribing me. (: As for me, I havent even take the promotion test so this muster parade isnt one that is so tense for me. (Well, SADLY!)
Cant wait for Friday. :( I need a getaway. I'll never know. God help me.
Just as I had mentioned in the previous post, CCA calls. Weekends started by kicking my lazy butt to go NP. Campcraft training at an unearthy 7.30am on a Saturday morning. Other than PT, I am so glad that I'm a lasher so its basically slacking around with the poles and twine. :D Well, for now. Honestly, I prefer to be a pegger. :'( Its more fun. Miss those pegs. Now poles are my "best friend".
Anyway, congrates to Ameera and Benedict, the Campcraft Captains and Jinyi and Yongxi, Campcraft Vice Captains. Crazy people man, Sec 2 I/Cs and SLAW. But of course, SLAW is so slack because his handy SAW Head does his jobs for him. (; Now, all i pray for is lesser Campcraft trainings. Very tiring!!
Youth was decent and your truely was already half dead because of Campcraft. Played this TIC TAC TOE game which reminded me immediately of the 14x14 tictactoe game used to play with Felix and Jared. Yea, invented by that crazy genius sitting behind me. And I was hoping that their genius-ness will flow from a higher potential (them) to a lower potential (me).
Back onto the subject, this game is human tic tac toe and Tim Singing Ng was went ballastic screaming and jumping like as if he was standing on millions of scorpions that instant. I swear that his group is overly hyper.
Oh yea, credits to Joel for the photos. (: There He IS! (below)
Sunday morning, I was thrown off the bed while I was in the middle of my lovely dream with my prince charming *starts singing the "I Can Hear The Bells" from Hairspray* (okay, that was a joke) and went church. My Washburn electric didnt cooperate with me at all today. So that means a trip to Music Clef with my guitar. Message was by Uncle ChoonChye today! :D And after that, was Teacher's Day practice. Ohman, the way Xp sing is so... CUTE? Is that the word? No idea, but I cant help laughing. Even with Xw's stern face when I start laughing. OPPS? Kenneth too. :DDD
Oh, and now I can proclaim how much great is Hairspray and High School Musical 2. Its so sad that I have not watch the whole show for both of them, thanks to Youtube keep getting rid of those who put the parts up. I am like so in love with the songs can? SO NICE. Plus, the plot for HSM2 is good, well, till the part that Youtube deleted the vids that is. Now, who's going to be the nice person and get me the shows? :D
Okay, gotta start doing some work. Ciao people, I am off to listen to that sickening great song from Hairspray that is stuck in my head.
Oh great, I just remembered there's muster parade on Tuesday.
Take me to that place Lord Where theres nothing else but me and you Longing for your presence I know that you're calling me to you
Here I stand and long for your embrace Nothing else could ever take your place
Come holy spirit fall in this place I need more and more of you Fill me again with the path of your spirit Lord I am crying out for more and more of you
Tiffany: Thanks! Amirul: *grins* Timmy: No Way. Hermione is better. AND prettier! Nat: Wait for you to... *wedding song* Michelle: Simplistic is the way to go! Haunts: Thanks, but it was the low tech, manual way ya? Jiayou on taking ur squad! Tabi: She IS. I envy okay! I want those genes!! Gwen: Yea, so that means more games!! No drills pls. Ren: I keep forgetting to send it. Opps. Timmy: Linked.
Getting back the results wasnt good. In fact, I will use the word "dreadful". The results are horrendous, and all under expectations. Not to mention, very very degressing and far from motivational. So much for trying to study hard.
Anyway, the past few days were full blast tiring and disappointing (with the results) so I was in no fit state for blogging or much MSN chatting. So, sorry to all those i could not chat with and instead put up the BUSY sign. Presentation week has filled my evenings with powerpoint-making. Hopefully after this, I can go back to normal evening chats.
Wait a minute. No. CCA calls. GAH.
Talking about that, NP is madness. Firstly, we are resuming Campcraft trainings, meaning goodbye nice smooth skin and hello to hand filled with a hand-FULL with blisters and HUGE plasters. Thank Goodness for now I am the tent lasher. Yea, the one man show person. Talk about the stress. :( Secondly, Ms Nani didnt update our cca form again. Its WTH okay. So everything on my list is now a big fat oval ZERO. CCA attendence is also less than 50%. Okay, that is SO rubbish. And not to mention, tomorrow and Saturday is going to be hardcore NP. 12 hours in total. Someone please tell me I am nuts to actually agree going.
Anyhow, back to the 3A classroom (where the air is ever so tensed and sian), here are pictures of some of the thing that we actually are doing when the teachers are going through papers.
1. Stone
2. Vandalizing someone
3. Alex doing his computer maddness (madness because I can never understand what chim stuff he is typing)
4. Playing Maple
Yeah, gag over the fact that the teachers did not notice Alex using his VAIO laptop in class and neither did they notice the boys mapel-ing away. Guess sometimes the thought of a guai class playing computer in class is far from realistic. But here's to prove it wrong. (:
And here is to another crazy weekends. Ber-su-rai!
A long day, Bumbling Busy, Cranky headaches, Disgusting marks, and Extended lessons.
Not my kinda thing. :( At least outing with Nat on Monday was pleasant and we had donut factory therapy! Sometimes, little things can make so one so happy. Beware the power of the small!
Yesterday's training was one of the best since we taken over. Honestly, maybe because of the games, NP didnt seem as sian and irritating as before. At least now, we have some motivation for NP. Oh, and did I mention the sec ones are super super cute? Look at their faces! How can you deny that they are not cute? Lucky Sec one I/Cs! They kinda remind me of us when we were Sec one. Right? That time our squad was so huge, so much that no one could fall in beside our squad when we were taking full dressing. We were so enthu and so zai in our drills. Missing those times. Hopefully more of those that are hibernating from NP would come back.
Sec twos are also slowly coming back. Congrats Shaun, Yong Xi, Jinyi and Ameera! :D They way they play games with the sec twos were so funny! And so was the way Wee Hong owed Yongxi when he wanted to go off and kept interrupting me and YongXi's conversation.
Lets gets the NP spirit started man!
Not to forget, our lovely squad. Soon enough, its time for us to go.
SHERWIN! Sec 3 I/C. :D
all the EMO kias! "Walao! You all cam whore one!" - Sherwin
A new friend in my Keychain collection. Meet Hermione!
Thanks to Renee for the keychain. Its so cute! :D Why is it Hermione? Well, the story goes way back when we were P5. Inside joke, between Ren, Tammie and I.
Anyway, the Common Tests are over! YAY! However, I dont think I did really well for them. Argh! But screw NP tomorrow. :( Not to mention I have Chinese Oral. OHMAN.
Tagbacks; Michelle: HEHE. But its still picky! Imagine Nat with a huge tummy... WOOOOOHHHH! Renee: Hermione Keychain right?!! XD OMG! Thanks. Love it. :) Timmy: woah, so patriotic? And why is my last line so peculiar? Nicole: Meaning OLD? I dont want to be old! Tabi: We should make a collage of all our baby-ish photos! Omg, we were so cute can. (I love kenneth's cheeky smile when he was young) Amirul: Well, kinda. All the best for your prelims. School's killing us.
I've finally revamped my skin. :D What do you guys think of it? I love the simplistic livejounal type of design and so, decided to do some copycatting.
Anyway, the past two days were merely burning my head off with exams. Honestly, papers arnt going that good but oh well, did the best already right? I bet all those 3A-ians are feeling the stress coming along. Been asked by several teachers and friends are we stressed. I think the answer is evident. :(
Okay, back to some mugging. At last, today I can have an early night. Need to get rid of some of those eye bags. Looking forward to tomorrow! The end of exams. XD And as well as Renee's present. HEH HEH!
Hello common test week and goodbye to the holidays.
I cant believe 5 days of so-called holiday have just passed without me realizing it. Somewhat like being unconscious. Scary isnt it?
Anyway, there is a season for everything and recently, I've spotted out one. Guess what is it? Here's a clue. Do you see ladies with bulging tummies and chubby cheeks, wearing maternity clothes and eating sour plums? Well, if you dont, I do!! Its either there is a problem with me or that its pregnant women on the rise! First came teachers in school, then my aunt gave birth to this cute baby girl, then it was random people walking on the street. Even my dentist that does my braces is pregnant! Omg. I told Tabitha this and she called it the mating season. It sounds so wrong doesnt it? And hey there, I only thought animals do that. I guess the Government is happy about the increasing little babies.
Talking about that, with all the new technology, little kids are getting smarter and smarter. Schools are teaching them more and younger. I only remember learning times table in primary 2 or 3 and my K2 sister even knows them. Imagine some little kid coming up to you and rambling some chim matrix. I know one living example.
Presenting Alex!
Another child prodigy would be this girl. Faster click and load that video!
She is way way way talented. Now, thats what I call GOOD talent shows. Only 6 and with such a great voice, I can see a great future for her. See, if Simon Cowell is impressed, that means she's real good and not to mention SHE'S SO CUTE! I love the way she smiles and laughs. New idol. :D (ohhhh, and this is the start of some good talent shows now that Simon Cowell has high expectations!)
I want my future daughter to look like her! (oh no. sounding too old now) And she would be named Rei. Just in case some of you that havent found out what Rei meant and still thinks Rei is my crush or something.
Not to shock some of you, but i dont mind having kids. Heh heh. They are cute but sometimes a pain in the ass. Honestly, having two super hyper kids at home now is already driving me nuts. Maybe 10 years down the road i would love to have one or two, depending on that mystery man. But of course, I dont want to turn into some mother pig and start popping out kids. Tell me about it, its HORRIFYING! And from the way I'm seeing it, maybe Natasha will be the one to do the honors and start the ball rolling. (Michelle, shorten your check list and you gotta compete with Nat!) I cant wait for that day to come. After all, we have been talking who's going to end up with who are so on and so forth since kids. I bet even our parents have teasingly joked about this once or twice too. Its interesting, dont you think so?
Anw, thinking about all these makes me pretty high. Childish, you guys may think. But trying to guess who is who's future "hubby" or "darling" is simply amusing when it comes to your childhood friends. For all you know, Michelle can end up with Xp! Okay, that CERTAINLY wont happen. :D
on second thought, impossible is nothing. HMMMMMM.
Thursday was spent at Macs at White Sands studying with Tabitha. Typical for a sec2 to still be able to slack around at this time. Actually, i would actually choose to play than study (like DUH!) if i was not in that mad class 3A. Everyone's too smart in there and I cant afford to lose out to them can I? :D But its okay other than the freaking annoying national day theme song which replayed and replayed.
Friday was supposed to be going over to XwXp's with Tim to study. But Tim could not make it and Yinglin was sleeping in after hardcore performance for NDP the day before. So it was impromptu decision making to travel to Renee dear's. Though it was far from a studying session, I did study okay! After showing off my remarkable phone hacking software, Renee was off to hunt down the software and I set of studying and drawing geography diagrams.
Say I'm super hardworking.
Anyways, its burnt out and knocked out now. Still contemplating on whether to go for Mr Wee's extra class tomorrow. Not exactly my idea of rushing up and down on a Saturday morning but I guess it might turn out beneficial. Those that are going, ring me up okay?
The National Day holidays have just begun. If you read between the lines: Mug people! MUGGGGG!
Today was probably the only day in this whole entire term that i wake up smiling simply because its going to be half day and its holidays after that meaning, CAN SLEEP IN! :D No more sickening alarm clocks and dragging my fatigue body out of bed.
School was half red and half white. Reminded me of last year's national day and with Az having two flags, one on each side of his head. So cute lah. Heard that he came to school with 10 on his head today.
Thank God this year there wasnt any long speeches or whatsoever. Just the state flag and stuff. Then we had to do COPE, basically bringing elderly around. :S Must as well use the time to earn some CIP hours for myself right?
After all that, it was basically eating, errands and studying. I mean, how boring can life be? I am like so glad that Michelle stays so near my school so I can pop by anytime. (:
Looking back, I would have never thought of knowing this bunch. But have never regretted, yet.
The time has come for the mugging season. One word for it, Depressing. Even things like hand delivering donuts to XwXp is enjoyable. Simply waiting for my beauty sleep. Dont want to have black donuts around my eyes instead. :(
Been very busy lately, in fact i am like squeezing out this post from the midst of my essays because the fingers are beginning to itch badly.
I dont know if other classes are also loaded with homework but my class certainly is. Already having decided not to complete some of the subjects, I still have a whole big pile more right in front of me. In fact, I have homework from EVERY subject. I'm depressed, period.
National Day's week is here and tugging along the holidays. Honestly, its more like holidays in disguise. Mugging like mad for all of us that are labeled as students. Already have arranged some study dates with some dear friends which hopefully are not a distraction in the end. I am somehow going to persuade Xp to let me study with him. That mugger pot.
Anyway, today was some what like a fashion parade in church. Majority of us were wearing and strutting their new stuff, and let me emphasize, COINCIDENTLY. I was wearing this new half length cardigan from wh, Xp was wearing a green and blue checked shirt from animal, Timothy in a collared shirt and a jacket over it like some Hogwarts student (copycat me to wear black and white), kenneth's red shirt, Xw's old yet surprisingly small shirt and Sarah's long dress-shirt. Thats what I can remember now. Its not everyday you see a whole bunch of people wearing really different clothes. Not to mention I got a handful of comments about my cardigan, some perverted ones like Michelle using her finger to slide down my side.
Super tired and so much to do... and also craving for some munchy donuts.
Sometime I just wished I had four eyes, two set of ears and mouth, eighteen pairs of hands and maybe three sets of Felix's brain.
I'm in deep trouble. :( Like an ant in the hot steaming pan. I have the NP board to complete by tomorrow before Ma'am Hazi comes and so many photos to rush in by then. I hate doing so many last minute work. I can only comfort myself with the word "LAW Head". GAH.
Anyway, I was pretty pleased with myself during physics today for beating Felix and those smart aliens at the recent physics paper. For once, I think Mr Wee enjoyed marking my physics paper. I think you guys would want to see my face when he announced my name while doing his usual and traditional top listed.
Next week's a breeze but its going to be rather tragic. Coming weekends are love yet really busy. Followed by the monday blues and tuesday dooms. But after that is the lovely national day holidays which means hardcore studying for the common tests next week.
Yea, tell me about it. :''( School's so evil. study dates anyone?
You never know how much they mean to you till they're gone.
School week breezes by. Just like the saying goes, so much to do, so little time. During one of my MSN chats with the Bimbo, we chanced upon the topic of our childhood. That lead us to exchanging of some baby pictures. So, I had to ransack the stack of albums and search for some of the oh-so-embarrassing-yet-cute toddler pictures. I chanced upon several very cute ones, some very hilarious ones, some very memorable ones and some very hair-raising ones.
Then the word "Childhood friends" flashed big and bright in front of me. Indeed, childhood friends are one thing you can never exchange for. Some may not understand what I mean, but the rest will. Still remember the days where we played catching in the old church carpark, drenched in sweat and the air filled with our laughter. How about the times we hid in the wardrobes so as not to let the parents find us. And of course not forgetting the times where we go overseas together and we would hop from car to car during the breaks. The memorable times. :((
A few years from now, we would all look back at those dusty, yellowing albums and laugh at those times. Some of us may have our own children running around, married or attached. Some of us may be in high positions in our career or studying at some top university. Some of us may even end up marrying our childhood friends, whom maybe used to be your mortal enemy.
Maybe this is the reason why the say it is a small world after all.
