My results are like shit man. Literally shit.

Erm, am I supposed to rant about it? Nothing special to rant about leh. Like so common to me already.

Am I disappointed? Er, yea I am indeed disappointed especially for certain subjects (Physics, Bio, Emaths?) Disappointed also cause ALL my subjects are a mark or less away from the next grade. Imagine 6 subjects, all minus one point. Thats 6 freaking points down. :0

But well, knowing me, I wont be like some people who desperately fight, argue, convince, persuade, plead until the cows come home just to get those marks. Its so annoying to do that can. If the teacher count wrongly, then I guess I've no choice but to move my butt and get those marks back. Otherwise, I dont see how you can fly to Cambridge just to do that. I dont think the people there would give a hoot or two about you, not even if you bribe them with a humongous fudgy chocolate cake?

Oh well, no motivation whatsoever to study for O levels. Haha, you know right, it seems damn far away? 3 weeks are like 3 months to me. Tell me how to jump from 30 to 10 in 3 weeks?

*sigh*

Truncated sucks so badly cause of SOMEONE lah. Test me somemore and I'll certainly make sure that your hair will be in a brilliant condition and style for O levels.

Botak that is.

Dont try me.

21/09; Twentyone Love.
Sunday, September 21, 2008, 6:53 pm | 0 comments

21st today.

Sadly, I dont have anything interesting to share today leh. :( Its more like marking my last few hours of "relax" time before embarking for another hardcore month. On the next 21st, I would have already finished some of first 2 papers. Crazy isnt it. :o

Church today was pretty sian lor. Now, I kinda get what Jeremy mean when he says its sian. I mean, thank God that least most people turned up, unlike some previous weeks where the youth area was pretty barren. I'm looking forward for Nut to come back as well as for Samuel to come on Sundays. Haha, call me bias but I think Samuel brings the fun in lah. My leaders rock lah. (hoho, dont kill me other leaders. )

*sighs*

I dont want to go back to school tomorrow lah. 3 (maybe and should be depressing) days, followed by truncated. I hope there's more joint/mass lessons lah. For some reason, I really do not wish to stay with some of my class people. No offense, some of them are really nice and stuff but some just pisses me off like real badly. Plus, I cant afford to have any sort of emotional crisis now cause my grades are already in the state of needing CPR. So should you see me emo-ing around, you should understand why.

Anyway, let me stop ranting about school cause its boring.

Once Lin asked me (actually alot of people as well) asked me why I like the number 21. Okay lah, maybe the word "like" is too generic already. Obsessed may fit it better.

Well, I dont know either leh. It somehow has been embedded into me since I was young and have come to love that number. Like should someone ask me for a number, the first number that should shoot into my mind would be 21. Otherwise, the next number would be 1, 2, 20 or 121. Somehow it has to do with 21 lah. Funny hor.

star number21 is the 3rd star number (3 x 3 + 4 x 3).
is a Fibonacci number, and the smallest number of differently sized squares that are needed to tile a square.
is the number of spots on a standard cubical die (1+2+3+4+5+6).
is the number of ways of choosing a set of 5 elements from a set of 7 elements.
is x for: y=2x-22 and 3x-4y+17=0

= 112 - 102 = 52 - 22
= 40 + 41 + 42
= 62 - 52 + 42 - 32 + 22 - 12

221 - 21 is prime.

the German 'Twenty-One Club' (Zwanzigeins e. V.) is dedicated to the promotion of a new way to spell numbers in order to make mental arithmetic easier. The supporters of the club want Germans to say zwanzigeins (twenty-one) instead of the current einundzwanzig (one-and-twenty).

"When I Was One-and-Twenty" is a dramatical verse by Alfred Edward Housman about the futility of love, youth, experience, and the irony in living life.

Found from this web
So mathematical. So Mr Kang lah!

Aparently, I've also found out that even neurons have their favorite number. Maybe thats the reason why I love the number 21? So what does 21 gotta do with me? Hmm...

1. It is my birthdate.
2. It was my first register number (yea, i know its so irrelevant but somehow i can only remember this register number besides the recent ones)
3. It was the floor i got off everyday from the lift in my previous house
4. It was a pretty number to me. (I wonder why?)
5. I think in the past, good things always happen on the 21st?

I also not sure leh. I just think that 21 is a pretty number, unique and special to me lah. 21 is like also very professional?

Guess what, when I buy stuff, I always look out for the 21st item on the list or the 21st colour etc etc and normally I would buy it just because of the number 21. So dont tempt me with stuff with "21"s on it okay. I would be damnnnn tempted to buy hor.

Here's something interesting as well.
Those that know Xiaowen would know that he too loves the number 21, thus explaining why we share the same number on our youth tees. We were fighting over who should have the number 21 (plus both of us were the in-charges) since there can only be one 21. In the end we both agreed on sharing the number, thus allowing only 2 people to share a number.

Anyways, he too is born on the 21st but not in may, but april. He is also obsessed over the number 21, and definitely wont give in to me should there be only one 21. (Yes, thats how much he loves 21 as well, and I also wont give in to him. XD Too bad, Xiaowen)

Here's the interesting part. He's born on 21 April 1990 and I'm born on the 21 May 1992, making that 2 years and 1 month apart.

Let me repeat. 2 years and 1 month apart.

Like how cool is that.
Okay lah, maybe I'm too calculative but its cool, dont ya think so?

Okay, here are pics of the 21 lovers. (No, not the 21 couple but we who love the number 21.)

haha... here me look nice can already! can see xiaowen in the background.

nah, im just joking. later he angry how?

this picture is damn old. Like last year's Be Electrified? Eh, Xiaowen, need to take more pictures with you lah! I cant find any recent ones we took together okay. Walao, I look damn un glam in this picture. Short hair and braces. Ew.

Also, somehow the number 21 got special meaning to me one okay. So far I think only one person know. *wink*

Yea lah, i'm inseparable with the number 21. (:
Ohoh! I want to get engaged by 21 in japan! (hahahaha... okay, maybe not.)

Thats about all. I'm off to remove my red-orange-yellow nails. Damn sad lah. School tomorrow. God help me!!!!

おやすみ んあさい~!

P/S: Gambatte Xiaowen for your A levels. (:

Marking days are the best man. :D We are told to make the most fun outta it, meaning we should not study for these 2 days. Awesome.

But something in me is itching to study lah.

Anyway, I didnt exactly go out these 2 marking days cause somehow Lin and I got tired of shopping way too soon. So we baked.

Haha, no, it did not become some new slimming pill or lao-sai pill of some sort. It came out quite nicely okay!

Here's a pic of our chocolate brownie pico-cupcakes. Like the diameter is the size of a 50cent coin?

And today, which was supposedly going to watch movie, I baked apple pie. (yea, i know. i baked 2 times in a row and i didnt even feel bored of it)

It turned out rather good in my opinion, since its the first time i made apple pie + i had to do all the stuff from scratch (e.g. pastry dough and cinnamon powder). Replaced quite a number of ingredients as well since the baking adventure was kinda impromptu.

But hey, it tastes good okay, besides the kinda hard crust. (and i aint got a big ego hor).
Lets see what the BS people say tonight. :D

yay! exams are over. well, sorta cause the major Os are yet to come. so sickening lah. why cant it faster come and go. :( I'm like so envious of the sec3, 2 and 1 kids cause they have their FYE in like a week or two's time and then they are free for the rest of the the 2 freaking whole months. Like hello, i'll still be stuck studying till I turn bald for at least a month more? :((((

Its evident that people start to go insane after intense mugging cause i witnessed Reza (i'm not sure) but the guy on wheels from 4J whacking his clutches real hard on the floor. Yea.

Anywayyy, i've like started looking out for some stuff for my holiday in November. :P Like my BOOTS. :D HOHO, i've gone into boots fetish and i've managed to find a blogshop selling nice jap and korean boots (so i can kop the pics from them) but they are freaking expensive lah. I've checked Bugis street as well and the cheapest i can find is like 39 buckaroos?

LOOOKKKKK. (i'm getting excited over boots. wonderful)

The leather ones are nice and definitely more suitable & worthwhile to buy.
Most of them ranging around 45 buckaroos on this blog?

Butttttt, i totally love the suede ones. Sadly, i cant find any of those with fur on the top rims of the boots , those similar to what Makino wear in HYD. I think i fell in love with her boots already, just that her boots kinda lack the heels. But i still love it. :D

Below is my fave amongst all that i've seen so far. Simple and totally chic. 45 buckaroos. Anyone willing to sponsor me? And for once, it comes in my size! 34/35. :D

You cant believe how happy am i. Like normally people only carry up to 35 and its still too big for me.

(all pics credits to this web)

Am still contemplating whether to get it when I go Beijing or get it in Singapore. I'm very very VERY interested in getting it in Singapore so that i can show it off when i get on the plane to Beijing instead of going there and then shopping for boots. But on the other hand, buying the boots in Beijing can be a whole lot cheaper! :(

How how how?!

Plus, i'm also going to wear these boots in Singapore although i know there's gonna be ALOT ALOT of stares. But dont you think its SOOO nice?! :)

Oh yea, should anyone know someone that is selling boots or know where to get cheaper boots, comment this post alright?

I really want my boots! :(
And guess what, Lin told me to wear my boots to prom. HOHO, imagine dress + boots. I wont be the prom queen but instead the drag queen lah!

Sia lah, damn tired. :( And i've no idea why?

OH yea, guess what? I've already bought my prom dress! :D Similar ones with Lin but of course, they look slightly different. HOHO, and to keep you guys in suspense, i'm gonna not reveal it till prom. Well, neither is Lin going to so its our secret. *shuush!*

And yea, I found this on Mich's blog which i think its really accurate too!

Which fruit will you pick if you were handed these?

1. Orange
2. Apple
3. Banana
4. Coconut
5. Pineapple
6. Papaya
7. Mango
8. Cherry
9. Black Grapes
10. Peach
11. Custard Apple
12. Pear

Now, dont cheat and choose before you read! :D

I choose my favorite Apple & Peach. I like cherry too but it isnt the first 2 that strike me. Hoho, most of you guys should know why i like apple! They are so cute. :D + my apple keychain. Peaches are sweeeeeeet! So sad no watermelon lah! :(

ORANGE - If orange is your favorite fruit, it speaks of a person who has enduring patience and willpower. You like to do things slowly, but very thoroughly and are completely undaunted by hard work. You tend to be shy, but are reliable and trustworthy friend. You have an aesthetic bent of mind. You select your partner with care and you love with all your heart, and not in for just a fling. You avoid conflict at all costs..

APPLE - If apple is your favorite fruit, you are an extravagant, impulsive and outspoken person, often with a bit of a temper. While you may not be the best organizer yourself, you make a good team leader and are good at taking things forward. You can take quick action in most situations. You enjoy travel immensely. You ooze with charm when you are with your partner. You have an enthusiasm for life, unmatched by most.

BANANA - You are a softy! Loving, gentle, warm and sympathetic by nature is the banana lover. You often lack in self-confidence and are quite timid by nature. People often take advantage of your sweet temper, and sheer vulnerability to a situation. You adore your partner in every which way, both for their mental and physical beauty! Because of the way you are, your relationship is always very much in harmony!

COCONUT - The coconut lover is a serious, very thoughtful and contemplative person. Though you enjoy socializing, you are particular about the company you keep. You tend to be stubborn but not necessarily foolhardy. Shrewd, quick-witted and alert, you ensure that you are right on top of any given scenario, especially at work. You need a partner with brains, and while passion is important it certainly isn't everything for you.

PINEAPPLE - You are quick to decide and even quicker to act. You are brave in asking career changes, if that is what is to your advantage. You have exceptional organizing abilities and are undaunted by the size of the task at hand. You tend to be self reliant, sincere and honest in your dealings with others. Though you are not given to making friends very quickly, but once you do, it is for life. Your partner is often impressed with your sterling qualities but disappointed in your ability to show affection.

PAPAYA - You are truly fearless and take much that happens in life in your stride. You give considerable thought to things you do. You have a sense of humor that, along with your generous nature, keeps you in most people's good books. You are a go-getter in your professional life, and have a knack for being in the right place at the right time. You enjoy meeting new people and seeing new sights whenever you can. Your sense of humor is what attracts members of the opposite sex to you more than anything else. It is simply charming!

MANGO - A mango lover is a personality to be reckoned with; quite often, you are a person who has quite fixed ideas, and influencing you is not an easy task. You tend to be an extremist with strong likes and dislikes, and at times even like to control a situation... You enjoy getting involved in something that presents mental challenge. Strong as you may be, you are like a kitten when you are with your partner. You accommodate the love of your life, and make up for all the strong will elsewhere!

CHERRY - If cherry is your favorite fruit, life isn't always as sweet for you.. You often face ups and downs, particularly professionally, and find that you make small sums of $$$, instead of a lump sum. You have a fertile imagination and are often involved in creative pursuits. You are a very sincere and loyal partner, but find that expressing your feelings is not very easy. Your home is your haven, and you love nothing more than being surrounded by close family and your beloved partner..

BLACK GRAPES - You are a polite person in general, but do have quick flare-ups of temper that cool down just as quickly. You enjoy beauty in all forms, including beautiful people. You are very popular because of your warm, gregarious nature. You have a zest for life; you enjoy everything you do, right from the way you dress, to your style and your day-to-day life. Your partner must share your zeal and zing for life to enjoy all you have to offer!

PEACH - Like a peach, you enjoy the juice of life and all its lush ripeness! You are the friendly sort, and are quite frank and outspoken, which adds to your charm. You are quick to forgive and forget; and value your friendships highly. You have an independent and ambitious streak in you that make you a real go-getter. You are the ideal lover, fiery and passionate but sincere and faithful in love. You don't, however, like to display all that passion in public.

CUSTARD APPLE - You are a modest and conservative person who can be quite sensitive at times. You tend to be thoughtful and contemplative, and therefore are rarely rash in doing things.. You are quite ambitious and are good at anything that requires much detailing or working with numbers. You are quick at finding fault with others. While looking for a partner, you value a person's intellect far above their looks or good old passion. You are quite shy and not very comfortable demonstrating affection..

PEAR - If you put your mind to something you can do it successfully, but by and large you tend to be fickle and have trouble completing a task with the enthusiasm you started it with. You need to know the results of your efforts almost immediately. You enjoy mental stimulation and love to get into a good discussion! You tend to be a restless and high-strung person, and are easily excited. Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect! It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections!

I think its accurate lor! Haha, i've so revealed my real character here.

what about you?

This rocks man.

its 12.50am now and i'm still stuck trying to squeeze at least some bio into my brain, or should i say white matter (or is it gray?). ARGH! I guess my brain has reached it limit, after like 4 hardcore days of prelims, intense memorizing, switching subjects, problem solving and interpreting and goodness knows what. I even felt like as though it has overheated and clogged up after today's Amaths paper which amazingly didnt fell asleep in despite of the horrible weather.

HOW HOW HOW?! I think I'm gonna flunk another science paper which is definitely NOT a good sign lor! And to think that I was hoping that this time my report slip will look a tad nicer. Like you know, more Bs and hopefully As instead of the usual B4s and C5s.

*GOES CRAZY*

Yea, i guess it has finally malfunctioned. Why doesnt Bio teach us about our brain when it comes to studying till one becomes crazy? Is it an involuntary act? Or is a cranial reflex? (or what was it again? shits.)

and omg... i got like a truckload of stuff i wanna do, like photoshop and watch drama and watch nonsensical japanese game shows (lol to human tetris and pacman!) or even like clear my room!!! not to mention like to post a decent post on some stuff i found online.

Brain isnt functioning. Might as well go and sleep and recover from past days lack of sleep. Serious eyebags man. Okay, i know im making really no sense but i need to rant somewhere. Apart from my out-of-order brain, i really need to clear all those crazy noises and emotions in my whatever cranial fluid (is there such thing?). And kudos to grey matter, white matter, dorsal root ganglion and ventral root.

this is what i call hormones at work.
my ranting hormone.

Here's something in exchange of my senseless ranting.
Human Pacman. Go ahead and vibrate some vocal cartilages. Just make sure your trachea dont drop out.

i just wanna watch HYDF. (:
really really looking forward to the weekends and NOT school.

Yabai.

Need back up? I'm always there.

I totally love lalangs! They are like OMG so pretty and if im not wrong, the only other place in Spore that has lalangs of such is at serangoon there (some ulu place).

SO NOSTALGIC/VINTAGY FEELING RIGHT?!

Next year's band photoshoot MUST be at the lalangs (even if im not in the band). It will SOO awesome, especially with the guitars and all. HOHOHO.

Above is my favorite shot of the day. I can say that i'm damn damn damn happy with the photos (THANKS A MILLION NIC!) though the later ones we were damn sweaty (according to nic, we were sweating like pigs) and the pics didnt look as great as the first few. My hair was like in a total havoc lah.

Should I have the time tomorrow, maybe i'll upload a few here. (:
Got prelims tomorrow ah! Better go do my last minute (more like day) revision for Elect Geog. Haix, i'm so not looking forward to going back to school.

Morning assemblies at 730. MANSSSS.

P/s! OMG. I'm most likely catching Hana Yori Dango Final on FRIDAY with mich+nat+sarah. WOOTS. :P I'm just too happy. Domyouji, here I come! (sounds wrong!) Finishing the series 2 today. :( Even by watching only one episode per day, I finish the series WAY too early.

P/S/S! I absolutely hate that Umi-chan lah! GRRRR. I was like screaming away while watching her back stab Makino and flirt with Domyouji... Definitely worse than Shigeru. Shigeru is really admirable okay. *o*

P/S/S/S! I wanna go Japan lehsss. :( Not Beijing please! *thinks about high boots + lovely sweaters&hoodies!*

JABAJABAJABAJABAJABA!!!

Hana Yori Dango Final is out today! I so want to go and catch that movie can?! :(((

Domyouji is really damn cute and i totally love his acting as a baka brat who is madly in love with Makino (and his cute curls!). Haha... but then I will need to wait till my major prelim papers are over then i can go catch it. Or else will feel damn guilty after the show lah.

Why oh why must the show come out now.... I feel damn envious of Mich who is catching it soon and even more envious of Cassandra (my lab partner who is crazier than I am about Jap drama) cause she's catching it TODAY. OMG. I guess she's smart so she can afford it. As for me, I think i'll go really goo goo after I catch the movie and will be ranting about Domyouji the whole day.

As for now, I'll SLOWLY watch my HYD season 2 so that it can keep me suspended and entertained till my exams are over and i can go catch HYD final. :D HOHO, im so excited.

Funny thing is that I started watching HYD is because of Shoujiro (real name is Matsuda Shouta) is in it but ended up going crazy over Domyouji. :P

Okay people, off to study.
Jaa ne, and kon-kon! (:

So, only when i blog about transexuals picking a fight, then the comments increase? Hmmm.

Holidays have been only so-so for me. :( Time is going way too slowly and there isnt much to do cause well, i cant really do anything due to restrictions, that is, my prelims. GRR. >:(
Thankfully its the rainy season, if not i'll be so damn itching to go to the beach. Every hols, i'll visit sentosa's beach at least once. Not because of hot guys but because thats pretty much the only clean and decent beach in Singapore. Other beaches are just filled with litter and dirt and oil and stuff that you dont want to know.

GROSS.

i miss Aussie's beaches, dont you Tabs? :(

Anyway, studying for prelims are going just okay, not as fantastic as i hoped it to be but at least its moving along. Changi Airport is now a new exhibition centre of Singapore's trait -mugger students. There are SO many students studying there that it has become the new library lah! :O

OHOH! And I'm now watching Hana Yori Dango 2. OMG, its so so so intense and at the same time, funny. I am totally in love with the lead actor, Domyouji , cause his acting skills are certainly ichiban.
Haha, he's such a baka, trying to use pun but in the end becoming one himself. LOL.

I'm gonna be real sad when i finish the series cause then, i'll need to find another drama to watch. With HYD raising the standards (i'll place this 2nd or 3rd after Prodai), its gonna be hard to find an equally good drama. One thing bad about Jap dramas is that they have like only 10 episodes and each are only like 40 mins max long.

Korean shows are just no match to Jap's lah. Jap guys are a whole level cuter! XD that goes to my yamapi, matsuda shouta and jun! (((:

okay lah, here's something interesting i saw when i was browsing through some blogshops.

is this bad photoshopping or really weird armpits?
My verdict?
:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHA!
