You never know how much they mean to you till they're gone.School week breezes by. Just like the saying goes, so much to do, so little time.
During one of my MSN chats with the Bimbo, we chanced upon the topic of our childhood. That lead us to exchanging of some baby pictures. So, I had to ransack the stack of albums and search for some of the oh-so-embarrassing-yet-cute toddler pictures. I chanced upon several very cute ones, some very hilarious ones, some very memorable ones and some very hair-raising ones.
Then the word "Childhood friends" flashed big and bright in front of me. Indeed, childhood friends are one thing you can never exchange for. Some may not understand what I mean, but the rest will. Still remember the days where we played catching in the old church carpark, drenched in sweat and the air filled with our laughter. How about the times we hid in the wardrobes so as not to let the parents find us. And of course not forgetting the times where we go overseas together and we would hop from car to car during the breaks. The memorable times. :((
A few years from now, we would all look back at those dusty, yellowing albums and laugh at those times. Some of us may have our own children running around, married or attached. Some of us may be in high positions in our career or studying at some top university. Some of us may even end up marrying our childhood friends, whom maybe used to be your mortal enemy.
Maybe this is the reason why the say it is a small world after all.
