Been seeing church peeps
Anyway, the last 2 days was spent with Mich's, Uncle Herman's and my family in M'sia to check out the next year's June campsite. The adults are in the committee thus the crowd. I can say its pretty good alright. Nice big pool, slides, beach (not too fabulous though), field, decent rooms. Since its Michelle approved, it should be almighty fine. One thing I dont like though is the flies and mosquitoes. Went to the field and the mosquitoes had christmas buffet lunch.
I'm sooo sweet lahs.
Complimentary dinner. ALACARTE style baby! :D Bill amounted close to a whooping 900 -1000 RM cause a couple of people like Samuel helped himself to the most expensive thing on the menu, the tenderloin.
DELISH. :D Their welldone was waaaaayyyyyy better than the medium well steak Avy and I shared in Myanmar. (But i love the redwine sauteed mushroom sauce!)
Traffic jams are horrible there. Immigration too. Plus! The immigration jam is on the Singapore's side lah! Both entering and exiting Singapore took 1.5 hours each to get through just the damn place. HORRIBLE CAN? And can you imagine, with the new (okay, not so new) technology that resembles the ezlink tap thingy in airports which take prolly 1.5 minutes instead, HOW CAN CUSTOMS TAKE bloody 1.5 HOURS?! Plus, its just to M'sia nia...

Anyhow, I'm looking forward towards June camp. Awesome 4 days there. Haha, apparently Mich said that too. Kinda cause it will be more outdoors this time, PLUS, 4 days. :D Extended holiday please!
OH! And I love Wii games, especially Trauma Center, the surgery one. Damn cool I tell you. SAMUEL! I'm going over to play that sometime soon!

Wah, just came back from Rin rin's birthday outing + Christmas play @ Bethel.
Especially my legs. The veins are popping out and there are blisters. :(( High heels kill but then, heh heh, I was taller.
ANYWAY. I am going to M'sia on fri&sat with Mich & my dear ass leader Samuel to check out the upcoming June camp hotel AND OMG. I WANT TO PLAY Wii!!! It sounds damn retarded but yea, really, i've never touched a Wii before. The closest I ever got was when I saw it in Japan a year ago on the display set. EH MICH & SAMUEL!! MUST BRING OKAY.
(sorry for all the caps. I think i feel hysteric now.)
Oh, and I didnt forget about the "21st" post. Cause... I'm doing it now. :D Yea, I know this doesnt fall on the 21st but well, whatever. This month way too hectic already lahs.
I really cant believe it had been a month since 21/11 which was spent in Beijing. (I couldnt even remember that lah. omg. I had to go to the achieves to check.) And now, christmas is around the corner and the next 21st will be in 2009. So fast! Maybe by then I would have gotten my results lah. :0

Pop by in the midst of completing my never ending to-do list.
My to-do list is mainly settling presents/christmas stuff/pictures and designing lor. OHOH. And not to mention alot of cleaning and blogging. -.-
I've yet to even finish my blog post on Beijing lah.
Darling Rin's birthday is tomorrow. She's a christmas eve baby BUT she is like so tall. So much for being younger hor? Since she's such a uber bestie, I've alot of things to settle with regards to her birthday. *partial sigh*

Just came back from Christmas event by church. It's definitely a success, with a crowd of 300+ residents and tickets completely sold, with most of us having to give up our tickets at the last minute. Congrates DAD! (YEA, my dad is the main in charge for this event okay.) Dont play play! I'll make sure I learn some of his super organizing skills from him one of these days.
Can tell that everyone's shagged to the max and really, thank God that tomorrow's service is at 11 or else I'll need to get up at 830 to make it for the 9am worship practice. PENG SANG AH!
Its like 1130 now and I've yet to make a draft of my Myanmar sharing tomorrow, wrap the presents, do the cards and calculate the money. I think i can only sleep at 3 again. These days, my body clock has gone haywire. I eat at most 2 meals a day, one in afternoon and supper/dinner. I sleep at an awesome time of 2-3am and wake up at 9-10am. Only in Beijing I remember resting early and rising early lah. I'm SO SO SO glad I dont have to wake up early for school now. :3
:((( cause tomorrow night Xiaowen, Xp, Nat, Nic and Kenneth are flying off to Perth. PLUS, they'll be only back on the 31st. OMG mans. :( Youth's gonna be quite empty for a while. *sigh*

This year, as mentioned by Michelle, Christmas is kinda low key but it is in a way better than last year's. Seriously, at least I can feel abit of the Christmas spirit coming round.
Very little time to shop this year though. :( Very low budget as well.

Myanmar'08

I dont think i'll be blogging much on regards the Myanmar trip but here are some photos to sum it up.

Overall, the Myanmar trip was a mind blowing experience. I dont think this just applies just to me but I'm sure the other 3 girls felt this way too. I dont know about Xp and Xiaowen cause well, its not their first time there.
Our "MUMS" and "PUMS" for the 5 days. (the way XpXw say it)
Preparation was really... tiring. I didnt have to do much preparation cause my message required not much stuff but on the other hand, Tabs & Avy had quite much to prepare for the craft and games.

And NEVER had I thought that being a leader had to do SOOO much work lah. Initially I thought it was just making sure they meet the deadline and stuff BUT I ended up having to take care of their physical, spiritual AND mental (?) wellbeing. Nutto & Samuel, now i know how you feel. *PEIFU PEIFU*
Basically, for the 5 days, we sat in this pickup truck which our church sponsored. DahLian drove us around and the kids LOVE him. He's one joker okay. His wife is damn pretty lah. Her eyes are super big and Zion (his son) inherited them. IMMA SO JEALOUS!!!
SO CUTE!
Anyway, Myanmar's dusty so at the end of the day, our hairs had natural gel/wax/pong pong fen while our faces had a layer of grey foundation powder.
Quite fun lah, bumpy roads and very windy.
@ million coins cafe, where we ate there 3 times.
The children at the homes are very very loving,enthusiastic and extremely obedient. NOTHING like Singapore children! They all run after the truck when we arrive, hug and cling onto you like super glue and run after the truck when we leave. Sometimes I feel damn sorry for them lah!

OH. And did I mention that the children there are DAMN IN LOVE WITH WORSHIP. We worship with only DahLian playing a guitar (no plug in cause they dont have electricity) and they are just as enthusiastic as us in concerts held by planetshakers or hillsong. What a contrast. They scream their lungs out for God's sake.

After seeing that, it makes me wonder why God bless us so abundantly when we neglect him most of the time while these kids are living in poverty but loves God SOO SO SO SO much more. It feels as though God is biased lah! Of course, He isnt biased. Its HIS LOVE and whenever I think about this, I cant help it but to feel real sad. Is that called feeling the heartbeat of God?

Anyway, the children are mega camwhores okay. Once I whip out the camera, they stampede over and want their picture to be taken. Chances of them owning a camera in their life is really slim i guess.

We experienced farm life in Garden Home. Farting goats, botak chickens and noisy goose/ducks/cows you name it. The ducklings were SO FREAKING CUTE LAH! But I think the ones who enjoyed the farm the most were Xiaowen, Aunty SoonLan and Tabitha. Aunty Soonlan was a goat fan lah! She chased after the goats where ever they went. Luckily we didnt eat any mutton there or else she will be damn sad. For me, I prefer to play with the kids than the animals or maybe I was just too tired. Oh, and I know Avy love the doggies.

Overall, the Myanmar trip was a mind blowing experience. I dont think this just applies just to me but I'm sure the other 3 girls felt this way too. I dont know about Xp and Xiaowen cause well, its not their first time there.
Our "MUMS" and "PUMS" for the 5 days. (the way XpXw say it) Preparation was really... tiring. I didnt have to do much preparation cause my message required not much stuff but on the other hand, Tabs & Avy had quite much to prepare for the craft and games.
Tab & Xp. (white team!)And NEVER had I thought that being a leader had to do SOOO much work lah. Initially I thought it was just making sure they meet the deadline and stuff BUT I ended up having to take care of their physical, spiritual AND mental (?) wellbeing. Nutto & Samuel, now i know how you feel. *PEIFU PEIFU*
Basically, for the 5 days, we sat in this pickup truck which our church sponsored. DahLian drove us around and the kids LOVE him. He's one joker okay. His wife is damn pretty lah. Her eyes are super big and Zion (his son) inherited them. IMMA SO JEALOUS!!!
SO CUTE!Anyway, Myanmar's dusty so at the end of the day, our hairs had natural gel/wax/pong pong fen while our faces had a layer of grey foundation powder.
Quite fun lah, bumpy roads and very windy.
@ million coins cafe, where we ate there 3 times.Earnestly praying,Earnestly Learning,OH. And did I mention that the children there are DAMN IN LOVE WITH WORSHIP. We worship with only DahLian playing a guitar (no plug in cause they dont have electricity) and they are just as enthusiastic as us in concerts held by planetshakers or hillsong. What a contrast. They scream their lungs out for God's sake.

After seeing that, it makes me wonder why God bless us so abundantly when we neglect him most of the time while these kids are living in poverty but loves God SOO SO SO SO much more. It feels as though God is biased lah! Of course, He isnt biased. Its HIS LOVE and whenever I think about this, I cant help it but to feel real sad. Is that called feeling the heartbeat of God?
Myanmar-nese girls!Anyway, the children are mega camwhores okay. Once I whip out the camera, they stampede over and want their picture to be taken. Chances of them owning a camera in their life is really slim i guess.
Yi Yi and her fave boy!We experienced farm life in Garden Home. Farting goats, botak chickens and noisy goose/ducks/cows you name it. The ducklings were SO FREAKING CUTE LAH! But I think the ones who enjoyed the farm the most were Xiaowen, Aunty SoonLan and Tabitha. Aunty Soonlan was a goat fan lah! She chased after the goats where ever they went. Luckily we didnt eat any mutton there or else she will be damn sad. For me, I prefer to play with the kids than the animals or maybe I was just too tired. Oh, and I know Avy love the doggies.
