Call me slow but I had no idea that there is actually a belief behind the Leap Year thingy.


According to folk traditions, it is said that only on Leap years, females are allowed to propose marriage. And should the male reject her, he is to compensate her, in order to reduce the blow, with the compensate ranging from a kiss to a silk gown.

Man, since that was the case I should ask many many guys out that day, get rejected and get a whole new wardrobe. C:
But well, I would never have the heart to do such a thing. (After all, I'm such a nice person.)

Anyhow, I think this basically what the show The Leap Years is about. It just so happens that so coincidentally on the 29th, something happened. (:

So now I have to wait 4 more years just to get a whole new wardrobe for free.
